5 Fun Activities to teach friendship skills to kids
Great news! Friendship is a skill every child can learn, and as parents or teachers, you can help foster it.
Activities that encourage cooperation, kindness, and understanding are excellent tools to help teach these important lessons.
Here are five fun activities for kids aged 3 to 7 that make learning about friendship engaging and meaningful.
1. Create Friendship Bracelets
Kids can create bracelets to give to a friend. Encourage them to talk about what makes their friend special while they craft.
Craft connection, one bead at a time.
2. Play Kindness Bingo
Get kids excited with a fun 30-day challenge! Print our free 30 Days of Kindness bingo card with acts of kindness like “gratitude walks,” “help a friend,” and “share a toy.” Reward kids for completing rows each week.

4. Storytime Sharing:
Use books like Brudders Learns How to Make Friends to explore themes of friendship. You can also utilize the Book Chat cards in the book’s free downloadable Book Companion when you join the Brudders Club to discuss the story’s message with your child.
5. Draw Your Friend:
Ask kids to draw their friend and write one nice thing about them. Display their creations in a “friendship gallery.”
Use art as an outlet for your child to express their feelings and emotions.
