Meet The Creators
Welcome! We’re Kristin and Derek - a husband and wife author-illustrator team specialized in visual storytelling.
After seeing the negative effects screens and social media can have on our youth, we created Brudders® to strengthen relationships, not replace them. We believe in helping kids build a strong emotional foundation as early as possible, so they can confidently grow through new obstacles in life.
We also wanted to create something timeless, with wholesome messages that all families can enjoy together. Because in an overstimulating and loud world, kids need calmness. Families need peace.
And while there’s plenty of bright, catchy books out there, we want kids to experience something different - a whimsical and safe world to jump into, with characters and life lessons they’ll remember as they grow.
So in 2020, we went all in on the path we felt God calling us. We independently published the Brudders® series, and we’ve committed our careers to growing it ever since. We’re so blessed to have you here. Thank you, truly, for joining us on this mission.
